About Rich 

Rich Engler is best known as one half of DiCesare-Engler Productions, the promoter that dominated the Pittsburgh music scene from 1973 to 1998. He was the President and CEO of Clear Channel Midwest. He also owned and managed venues such as the Stanley Theater (now the Benedum Center), AJ Palumbo Center, Syria Mosque, and the Chevrolet Amphitheater at Station Square.

Rich also presented and produced most of all the concerts at the Civic Arena/Mellon Arena from 1974 to 2004, along with 10 shows at Three Rivers Stadium, and the Inaugural Concerts at PNC Park and Heinz Field.

About Lisa

For the past 15 years, Lisa Mason has been planning parties all over the Pittsburgh area.  From 5-day tradeshows attended by thousands to intimate private dinners, Lisa has set the bar for creating big impressions with not so big budgets.

Five years ago, Lisa joined the team at Big Day Entertainment specializing in booking entertainment for corporate and fundraising events.  In addition, Lisa has created a bar/bat mitzvah department for the company, which in a short amount of time has become synonymous with Big Mitzvahs in the tri-state area.

Now as co-owner of Behind The Scenes Wedding & Event Planning, Lisa has most recently been seen behind such esteemed events as the Cinderella Ball, Medallion Ball, Pittsburgh Public Theater VIP Event, and Shady Side Academy’s Gala to name a few as well as some of Pittsburgh’s most storybook weddings.

Lisa’s philosophy for event planning is simple, a great event doesn’t have to take a lot of money, but it does take a lot of planning and creativity.
