The 2011 Event Showcase and Expo will consist of the Tri-State’s top service providers for planning all types of events. Exhibitors include caterers, resorts, reception facilities, audio/visual companies, display companies, lighting, party rental and prop suppliers, planners, transportation companies, entertainment featuring bands and live performances, and many others to offer the latest trends and hottest ideas for event planning.

About the Speaker  
Branden Chapman- Vice President, Production & Process Management 
                    The Recording Academy / GRAMMY Awards
As head of production for The Recording Academy, Branden oversees the development and execution of approximately twenty live music events annuallyl and is the executive in charge of production for the world-renowned GRAMMY Awards and GRAMMY Nominations Concert Live!! Countdown to Music's Biggest Night telecasts. He is responsible for the Academy's international business development initiatives, ticketing perations and venue/hospitality partnerships. Chaman is the Executive Producer of the GRAMMY Celebration after party and Co-Producer of the Pre-GRAMMY Gala with the legendary Clive Davis. He has conceived and launched events featuring artists including the Black Eyed Peas, Lady Gaga, Mary J. Blige, Seal and Whitney Houston. Chapman currently resides on the Boards of the GRAMMY Museum, Event Solutions and the Los Angeles Sports & Entertainment Commission and has been named Event Planner of the Year by BizBash magazine.

We have increased the exhibit space for more companies to showcase their products and services. The evening will consist of an industry mixer/networking party and of course as always, Big Day will provide the best entertainment the Tri-State has to offer.

Sal Richetti, founder of the Big Day Wedding and Event Center and owner of Big Day Entertainment, Video and Photography started his first Showcase/Expo in 2002 for country club managers only. This was a huge success so Sal decided to take the concept to the next level. For the last nine years Sal has hosted Showcases/Expos at the Sheraton Station Square and the Heinz History Center and now the Event Showcase and Expo is at our new location at the Carnegie Museum of Pittsburgh.
